Teens recorded 17 million workouts at Planet Fitness locations nationwide from May to September, laying the foundations for long-term healthy habits with a leader in fitness

The program, recording 17 million exercises over three and a half months. The Summer High School Ticket took place from May 16 through August 31, as Planet Fitness opened its doors to high school students between the ages of 14 and 19 to work for free at any of its more than 2,300 locations in the United States and Canada.

Mood rate. 88 percent of teens share their overall mood improvement after exercise, while 76 percent feel happy after exercise specifically.
Nearly nine in ten (86 percent) of parents say the High School Summer Pass program has opened doors to connect with their teens about overall wellness.
Good summer sweat. Three-quarters (75 percent) of parents admit that their teenage children would not have been physically active without a summer high school ticket, especially the impact of school sports programs, gym classes, and after-school activities during the summer.
Family fitness: Four-fifths (82 percent) of parents reported that watching their teen workouts inspired other family members to increase their physical activity, with more than half (58 percent) parents exercising with their teens this summer.

Finally, all teens in the United States and Canada who have automatically registered for The Planet Fitness High School Summer Pass lottery contest have been entranted.
